A copy of the holy bible is believed to have descended to this spot miraculously from heaven in August, 1914 at Araya, Isoko South LGA, Delta State. Nigeria. It is said to have come directly onto a rain- soaked yam but never got wet.
The site now attracts thousands of Christian pilgrims especially during the Easter season. The locals are better at telling this story you can visit them to know more. Access to it is easier during the dry season (Oct to April) and can be accessed from Warri through Ughelli and Oleh, and also from Asaba through Kwale in Nigeria.
