Question of the Day

I read an article by Jennifer Eivaz (Executive Pastor at Harvest Christian Center in Turlock, California) on Charisma Blog  yesterday

She said God told her that "In June, her church will experience a financial breakthrough."

She was filled with expectancy at the news. The Church was about three years past the 2007-2008 recession, but were still recovering as a church and getting their financial confidence back. June came, but instead of a financial breakthrough it seemed like they went in reverse! It ended up being a difficult summer financially.

Jennifer asked this question ''What Do You Do When Your Clear Prophetic Word Doesn't Come to Pass?'' on Charisma Blog and answered with an article

Charisma Commentators said she is a false teacher, her article is a work of deception from Satan's mouth. They said, she  heard another voice or her own voice and backed it up with Daniel 10:12-14, Deut. 18:20.

God told Jennifer that her church will experience a financial breakthrough in June but didn't come to past until the fall of that year.

What happened? Did She miss the voice of God?

  1. The outcome of a prophesy rarely look like we imagine. This financial breakthrough could merely be a total trust in God and His ways, rather than security in the bank. I'm no expert, but I do know God ways are not our ways. You can take that to the bank.

  3. God works in ways we don't understand, if it doesn't come to pass this year, it might be next year. And again it could be another breakthrough in other aspect

  4. Bola and Patty have given reasonable answers to the question. In summary, God's ways are not our ways.

  5. Prophecies respect principles. Financial prosperity has its principles were they followed? Sometimes God's June might be something else.
