Award-Winning Nigerian Author, Chimamanda Adichie has given her reservations about churches in Nigeria. She said she stopped going to church in Nigeria because of their constant demands and perceived hypocrisy. She mentioned that they request for too much money and focus less on the faith.
Adichie stated that Catholicism in Nigeria is way too much about money, thanksgiving; and fundraising and this amongst many other reasons made her stop attending Catholic churches in Nigeria.
