''I think the Scriptures on sexual purity are outdated and archaic. "Those parts of the Bible aren't relevant to today, after all, when the Scriptures were written, the people during that time got married when they were teens; so they didn't have to struggle with sexual temptation like we do now."
Though my friend showed me Scriptures about sexual purity; 1 Corinthians 6:9, 2 Corinthians 12:21, Galatians 5:19-21, Hebrews 13:4 and Deuteronomy 22:13-28, all which condemn sex before marriage, "Are these Scriptures relevant to today?" ''Is Premarital Sex A Sin''

ReplyDeleteThis post is quite enlightening to be honest. People have changed and so should what we view as wrong and right. x

It's always good to hear views from different perspectives. Interesting points covered in the article. Not an easy topic to discuss. Thank you for a great post.
ReplyDeleteScriptures are relevant in the past, present & future. God
ReplyDeleteloves us, his only son paid for our sins. Scriptures are meant to guide us.
James, flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a person commits are outside the body, but whoever sins sexually, sins against their own body (1 Corin. 6:18). Read the scriptures your friend showed you and meditate on them, heavenly answers are there. Pray to God before you read those scriptures.
Blessings!
Do you not know that he who unites himself with a prostitute is one with her in body? For it is said, “The two will become one flesh.”[b] 17 But whoever is united with the Lord is one with him in spirit. I Corin 6:16-17
