Bishop T.D. Jakes had an apparent medical issue at the close of Sunday's service at The Potter's House of Dallas while praying.
Jakes delivered an hour-long sermon on Sunday, November 24, 2024 and experienced a "health incident" while winding up his sermon, according to The Potter's House.
Jakes freezes on stage and lowers his microphone while shaking in a video of the event from the Potter's House webcast that was released on social media.
Several individuals suddenly surrounded Jakes.
"Back up, back up, give him some space," someone instructed.
The stream came to a stop shortly thereafter.
Since then, The Potter's House of Dallas has issued a statement saying, "Bishop T.D. Jakes encountered a minor health episode and got urgent medical assistance following his strong hour-long speech. Bishop Jakes.
