Recently, I heard Prophet Shepherd Bushiri who is arguably one of the richest and controversial pastors in Africa released a customized ATM cards for his members to use in paying tithes.

It was reported that the Zimbabwean prophet launched the customised ATM cards that were designed to allow members of his ministry pay their tithes ‘with ease. The sky blue colour ‘anointed money’ cards bear his name and picture.
The social media user-Ntje Ishmael Moholo who posted a photo of the ATM card on Facebook asked what Jesus Himself will think of such development among Christians nowadays and that brings us to who this prophet really is.

I think it is better when we withdraw our cash, pray on our tithe and offering before giving it to God.

I think if we know that ultimately we are paying to God and we pray over our giving, it doesn't make much whether we pay in cash or not. The payments are made in church and this new trend could be a security measure because of the dangers of raising and having much cash that might attract robbers. You are blessed! we can see clearly that this is not a true church u don't bring out such device in the church if u give secretely is better
ReplyDeleteThat's true. The bible tells us in Matt. 6:4 that your giving may be in secret. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.
